Coming out of the pandemic tunnel, we all need to take a deep breath, to relax, to enjoy, to leave all worries behind, to finally go on vacation! All of us at the Santorini Cave Houses are more than ready and eager to welcome you and offer you a safe, enjoyable and care-free stay in our traditional homes, which are equipped with all modern comforts and amenities. We have taken all the necessary measures and precautions according to the guidelines given by the WHO organization, the European Commission and the Greek Government.
These measures include the following:
- Our accommodations have received the Health First Certification, attesting that we adhere to the Governmental Health Protocols against COVID-19.
- We have developed specific cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean and sanitize each accommodation.
- We follow all HEALTH FIRST Safety Protocols set by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, in accordance with the instructions of the National Public Health Organization and the Ministry of Tourism for the protection of public health against COVID-19
- The accommodations are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest leaves. All surfaces are disinfected, including floors, door knobs, light switches, counters, table tops etc. There is a time period of at least 4 hours before the next guest’s arrival, so that there is plenty of time for the cleaning process and for fresh air to come in.
- Our staff wears all the necessary protective gear during the cleaning process as well as during communication with our guests.
- We clean thoroughly the houses every day while the guests are away.
- We use cleaning materials and disinfectants approved by global health agencies.
- We provide extra cleaning supplies, so that guests can clean the accommodation during their stay if they so desire.
Also, Santorini participates in the Blue Freedom Governmental Plan, according to which the population on the island will all be very soon vaccinated against COVID-19, thus reinforcing the safety of its visitors.
