Maria is everything her other grateful guests have described. She is so warm and thoughtful and responsive. The Paradise Cave House is magical and has an absolutely ideal location on the caldera. It is not too far down to hike to, and a courier helped with bags, anyway. It is so lovingly appointed with lace and housewares to make it feel homey and easy to cook and dine in. Although the stay was in low season, when Oia is so sublimely quiet, Maria still came down to the island and stayed nearby to attend to any needs that might arise. She was so responsive and unfailingly kind and helpful working with the unique heating system. She left more than enough Greek treats that some were even leftover! The bread was out of this world. Oia is magical and Maria makes it all so accessible and relaxing in her beautiful property that one is free to explore easily, having been well informed and well fed with her amazing breakfast provisions. I hope very much to return to Oia and experience her hospitality again!
